Your beliefs are your beliefs, but when a homosexual man is beaten on the street just because he is known to be gay, if someone is fired from a government job just because they are gay, if a kid in school is harassed and hazed because they are gay… yes. the LGBTQ community DOES take drastic measures. It’s equality in rights and equality in the freedom that EVERY American should have, as written by our four fathers.

The way people word pro-LGBTQ isn’t to say “If you’re not pro-LGBTQ, you’re against them” It’s the way YOU, as a heterosexual person, takes offense to the aggressive measures this community is making in order to gain equality within the country. We are harrassed! We are beaten, we are fired, we are banned, we disqualify for so much just because we are not the bible’s definition of a true couple? Are you fucking kidding me?

If you’re not for the equal rights, or if you choose not to stand for equality in America, by silently sitting and not giving it a second thought, it is thus enabling the many voices who speak out against sexual equality. THAT’S what this community means to say “if you’re not for us, you’re against us.”

Please, don’t try to act like we’re are the barbaric ones. We aren’t PETA, and we actually have a cause. Being we’re human beings and we deserve to be treated like heterosexuals are treated.
